I get VERY VERY VERY nervous when I see shelves like these over a doorway high overhead, especially full of heavy stuff like large books. This summer in Brooklyn I awoke to a thunderous boom and earth-shaking crash that seemed as if the building next door collapsed. As it turned out, a professionally installed shelf of the wall of the store in that building just decided to fall out of the wall. Where shelves are concerned this is a big possibility- you have no idea how much weight they can hold or exactly how sturdy they are in full. So… BAD FENG SHUI!
